Dry Diamond Cutting Disc

Some Diamond Cutting Discs are designed to cut without water, and these diamond Cutting Discs are usually designed for smaller jobs because of less cooling, or it is hard to get the water in complicated area, such as stone quarry and fire place. These diamond Cutting Discs can usually be identified by their cooling holes/ventilation. The dry diamond Cutting Discs is designed for straight and clean cuts. Dry diamond Cutting Discs are easy to use and less messy than wet diamond Cutting Discs. It is strongly recommended to use dry diamond Cutting Discs for indoor work and where work space is limited.

By the way, most small diameter of diamond cutting discs are designed for dry cutting.

Why does this matter between wet and dry diamond cutting disc?

If cutting with water or without wet cutting, the material cut with the diamond cutting disc may be completely damaged. Some diamond Cutting Discs are designed to cut without water, while other diamond Cutting Discs are designed to cut with water. It usually depends on the material you want to cut.

By the way, the working life of dry cutting disc is shorter than wet cutting disc.
